Programmable power supplies selected to test automotive assemblies for low-voltage hybrid vehicles
Low-voltage hybrid vehicles save fuel and lower the cost to consumers. Rather than operating on more expensive 300V or 600V batteries, developers of such vehicles have adopted 48V and 12V based system architecture.
A company needing to test a multitude of automotive system components for low-voltage hybrid vehicles reached out to their local TDK-Lambda salesperson. The 0-30V G30-34 (1020W) and G30-56 (1680W) GENESYS+™ models were chosen along with the 0-20V GENESYS™ GEN20-76 (1520W). Featuring LAN interfaces, these models provided the ability for remote monitoring and programming.
The chosen models are all 1U in height and have zero-stacking capability to save rack space. All models in the five-year warranty GENESYS™ series share common programming functions. The Virtual Control Panel allows for the programming and monitoring of units with or without front panel display.
TDK-Lambda offers a wide range of programmable AC-DC power supplies, click here for more information.
