1/16th brick footprint 400W to 750W DC-DC converters accept wide range inputs and provide wide output adjustment
TDK-Lambda’s i7A series of DC-DC buck (step-down, non-isolated) converters are designed for creating 33A, 45A and 60A outputs from a 12V, 24V, 36V or 48Vdc source. Wide 0.8 to 8V or 3.3 up to 24V output adjustment is possible, making them ideal for use in mobile robotics, drones, medical, industrial, test, measurement, communications, computing and portable battery-powered equipment.
Three mechanical configurations are available; low profile open frame, baseplate construction for conduction cooling, or models with an integral heat sink for convection or forced air cooling. With efficiencies of up to 97%, power losses are minimized allowing the products to operate in harsh environments of -40oC to +125oC temperatures.
The i7A standard features include output voltage adjustment, + remote sense, negative logic remote on-off, plus input under-voltage, over-current and over-temperature protection. As an option, the overcurrent set point can be adjusted to facilitate fine-tuning based on actual system needs.
