3-phase, 3000W power supply with MIL-STD shock and vibration selected for marine defence program

Posted by Dulcie on January 26, 2023

Marine defence power systems require testing to MIL-STD and Def-Stan tests for shock, vibration and EMI. Usually enclosed in a sealed cabinet, they have provision for battery back-up and for higher power levels, and the ability to operate from a 440V 3-phase 60Hz supply.

The TDK-Lambda TPS3000-24 was picked by engineers for its rugged design and MIL-STD shock and vibration. Capable of operating from either a Delta or WYE 400/440/480Vac input, the series has a built in ORing FET for redundancy and a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C.

The TPS series also has PMBus™ communication, which can be used to remotely program the output voltage and current.

TDK-Lambda offers a wide range of industrial power supplies. Please click here for more details.
