TDK-Lambda’s MU4 series of modular power supplies features up to 800W output power in a 1U (41mm) high compact package. The product uses a patent-pending intelligent fan control technology to provide extremely low audible noise. The MU4 is covered by a seven-year warranty for a lower cost of ownership.

Accepting an 85 to 264Vac input, the MU4 has a seamless output voltage capability of 3.3Vdc to 104Vdc supplied by five wide-range output modules. The primary option has a 5V standby, fan fail and AC fail signals, remote on/off and PMBus™ communication.

The MU4 has safety certification to the medical IEC 60601-1 and industrial IEC 62368-1 standards and is designed to meet IEC 61010-1. Input to earth isolation is 1 x MOPP (1.5kVac), input to output 2 x MOPP (4kVac) and output to earth is 1 x MOPP (1.5kVac). This full MOPP certification makes it suitable for B and BF equipment. Meeting the EN 55011-B EMC standard makes it easier to integrate for lower cost system compliance.
