The PXD60 series further expands TDK-Lambda’s board mount PXD converters from 6.6W to 60W. This 60W rated module has the industry standard 2” x 1” (50.8 x 25mm) footprint and six-sided shielding for easier system radiated emissions compliance. All models meet the 62368-1 safety standards and have remote sense, remote on/off, with protection against over temperature, over current and under/overvoltage conditions.

Featuring a 4:1 input range of 9V to 36V or 18V to 75V enables stocking just two models to support either 12V and 24V or 24V and 48V system voltages. This reduces the number of products held in inventory, reducing carrying costs compared to similar narrow input range products.

Five standard single output adjustable voltages are available; 3.3, 5, 12, 15 and 24V, with three fixed dual output voltages of ±12, ±15 and ±24V. The isolation voltage between input and output, input to case and output to case is 1,600Vdc. The PXD60 series features efficiencies of up to 92% and draws just 3mA input current when the remote on/off function is used, lengthening battery life when used in portable equipment.

Target applications include industrial, battery powered, and test and measurement equipment.
