The medical 3” by 5” CUS400M, developed by our UK Engineering team, provides multiple methods for product cooling. The series is capable of delivering 400W with forced air or 250W when convection cooled, with up to 400W peak power for 30 minutes. This makes it ideal for applications with occasional peak demands including motor driven medical equipment like hospital beds.

The power supplies are available with multiple mechanical configurations – open frame, metal baseplate, U channel and enclosed models with or without a top fan. The combination of either forced air, heat conduction in to the system chassis or convection cooling provides a high level of flexibility for thermal management.

The constantly expanding GENESYS+™ series of programmable power supplies will also be displayed. Half-rack 1U high models can provide 1 to 1.5kW, the full rack 1U models 1 to 5kW, 2U high 10kW and the 3U 15kW, with output voltages and currents of up to 010V/1,500A or 0-600V/25.5A. Paralleling for higher power is made easy with patented auto-configuring software.

The series can operate in constant voltage, constant current and constant power modes. Control of voltage and current slew rate, arbitrary waveform generation and storage, internal resistance simulation and display brightness control are all standard features. Multiple remote programming methods are available including LAN, USB, RS232 / RS485 and isolated analogue interfaces built in as standard. Interface options include IEEE488, Modbus-TCP, EtherCAT and more. The higher power units can be ordered to accept three-phase high voltage inputs.

Drop by our booth C180 to talk with our technical sales team, or just to see these new products and our broad array of other AC-DC and DC-DC converters.
