Clinical chemistry analysers, also known as biochemistry analysers, measure blood, plasma, and urine samples to determine the presence of relevant substances. Using photometric (light), colorimetric (colour), electrolytes and latex techniques, thousands of samples can be tested per hour. These highly automated, modular machines are even capable of handling mixed sample types in one batch.
