Although the TDK-Lambda Z+ and Genesys™ have different form factors and product names, they accept the same commands and can be programmed using a common communication chain. This simplifies the programming and monitoring when multiple power supplies are being used in a system.

In this video the Z+ GUI programming interface is used to control both a Z+ and a Genesys™ power supply. Selecting the appropriate address of the two products enables them to be controlled individually. The USB interface is used to connect the Z+ to the computer and an RS485 cable for connecting the Z+ and Genesys™ interfaces.
