How do I lock the Z+ power supply front panel controls?
Locking the front panel controls on the Z+ programmable power supply avoids accidental changing of the set parameters. This can prevent damage to the load.
Many of the Z+ front panel buttons are dual purpose. The “preview” button, which enables the user to check the voltage and current settings before the output is enabled, is used to lock the front panel controls. Pressing and holding the button will toggle the top display between UFP (unlock front panel) and LFP (lock front panel). Release the button when it displays the desired mode. The top display will revert to its original preview setting after a short time, or press the preview button momentarily.
