High speed digital printing has expanded beyond traditional paper media for documents, books and magazines. Plastic bags, sleeving, labels and packaging can now be marked using these highly flexible digital presses.

Having a strong relationship with a manufacturer of digital printing presses, TDK-Lambda provided a number of power supplies for a new project. During printing, particles of contamination can be present so power supplies with board coating to protect against unwanted conduction were required. The 960W DRF960-24-1/CO2, the 300W RWS300B-5/CO and the 300W HWS300-5/HD were all supplied with this option. A number of DPX DIN rail mount DC-DC converters were also selected.
