TDK-Lambda has added cost optimised models to the popular CUS600M series of industrial and medical certified AC-DC power supplies. The new CUS600M1 retains the key features of the CUS600M, which include a compact 3×5” footprint, convection cooled output power ratings of 400W continuous, 600W peak and a 600W forced air rating. Both series can also be used in either Class I and Class II (no earth ground connection) applications and meet Class B radiated and conducted EMI.

The CUS600M series has as standard a 5V standby voltage, remote on/off, Power Good signal and remote sense. The CUS600M1 offers a lower cost basis for users who do not require these features. Both the CUS600M and CUS600M1 have the option for the power supply to be fitted with a cover and integral, end-mounted, cooling fan.

Available output voltages include 12V, 19V, 24V, 28V, 32V, 36V and 48V and all are safety certified to the IEC 62368-1 (IT equipment and Audio-Visual products) and IEC 60601-1 (medical electrical equipment) standards.
