What is the difference between DRM40 and DRM40B DIN rail redundancy modules?

Posted by Martin on August 25, 2020

The DRM40 series of 20-40A DIN rail redundancy power modules is equipped with a current balance function, two DC OK LEDs and two isolated DC OK photo MOSFET relays. On the basic DRM40B units, these features are omitted.

If the balancing or monitoring functions are not required, then the lower cost B (basic) model can be utilised.

The DRM40 and DRM40B have the same electrical power ratings.

More information about the key features and specifications are on the DRM40 datasheet found via this link: www.emea.lambda.tdk.com/uk/drm40
