High-performance liquid chromatography employs a Charged Aerosol Detector (CAD) to measure the composition of chemical compounds in laboratory samples. CAD techniques are able to analyse substances that other traditional methods cannot detect.
Engineers developing a faster industrial liquid analyser required a 35W triple output power supply, preferably without the restraint of any minimum loading. The local TDK-Lambda representative proposed the CUT35-5FF supply, which requires no minimum loading and has the main 5V output isolated from the +/-15V outputs. This provides lower system noise performance and superior load regulation. The CUT35’s medical safety certification was an additional benefit.
