TDK-Lambda will present its recently extended range of QM series AC-DC modular power supplies on stand C180. With efficiency levels of up to 91 percent, the QM series features low acoustic noise and full MOPPs isolation, making it ideal for a wide range of demanding applications including BF rated medical equipment, test and measurement, broadcast, communications and renewable energy.

Visitors to Southern Manufacturing & Electronics can discover all six models (QM4, QM5, QM5H, QM7, QM8 and QM8B), which cover the range from 550W-1200W low line and 650W-2000W high line. Combining 1 MOPP (1.5kVac) input to ground, 2 MOPP (4kVac) input to output and 1 MOPP (1.5kVac) output to ground isolation, the entire QM range is certified for both medical and industrial equipment.

The stand highlights include the 2000W rated QM8 series, which is capable of providing up to 18 outputs. The power supplies accept 90-264Vac 47-440Hz input, and can deliver 1500W output power or 2000W with a high line input of 180-264Vac. Visitors will also get a chance to explore the new QM SA modules, which offer a cost-effective solution for low power output requirements. Their patented loop control design uses a digital controller, which can deliver a 40 percent reduction in the component count.

TDK-Lambda’s power supply experts will also be available on the stand throughout the show, ready to discuss customers’ power requirements and provide advice on power supply selection to help optimise their application.
