Real time massive data processing applications are rapidly increasing in number, driven by the requirements of national security, business analysis and the Internet of Things.  The use of scalable systems allows customers to add additional processing power to existing machines.

As an existing TDK-Lambda customer, a manufacturer of high speed data processing equipment was advised to use the 48V output 2500W hot-swap HFE series in their next generation system. Suitable for rack mounting and scalable configuration, the load-sharing power supplies offer the ability to operate in N+1 redundancy with communication to a host system via an I²C bus.  CQC safety certification was obtained for the products to allow export to China.
