Designed for energy storage systems with rechargeable batteries, the EZA11kW is an 11kW digitally controlled, compact 1U bi-directional dc-dc converter. It can change conversion direction from high voltage grid sources (320Vdc nominal) to low voltage batteries (240Vdc nominal) automatically and vice versa. Other applications include battery testing, HVDC facilities and the use of regenerated energy from robots, cranes, autonomous ground vehicles and lifts.
Measuring just 43.6mm high, 422.8mm wide and 530mm deep, the EZA11kW has the highest power density for an isolated bi-directional converter in the industry. Up to five units can be connected in parallel for larger scale systems. By using digital control techniques, SiC (Silicon Carbide) MOSFETs and low loss core technology, the converter operates with efficiencies of up to 95%.
