TDK-Lambda adds 15W and 30W rated CCG-D dual output models to its CCG range of DC-DC converters. Like the single output models, they have the industry standard 1 x 1 inch footprint and operate over a wide 4:1 input range. The CCG series is suitable for use in a large number of applications. These include communications, industrial control, test and measurement, broadcast and portable battery powered equipment.
The eight models in the CCG-D series are available with ±12 or ±15Vdc output voltages and can deliver currents of up to ±1.25A. Two wide input voltage ranges of 9 to 36Vdc or 18 to 76Vdc reduces the number of model numbers that need to be stocked. This allows for inventory reduction and improves product availability.
With efficiencies of up to 92%, the CCG-D series operates in ambient temperatures of -40°C to +85°C. The maximum case temperature is +110°C. All models have remote on-off, over-current and over-voltage protection, and carry a five-year warranty. Enclosed in a metal case with six-sided shielding, the series has low radiated and conducted emissions.
The converters are fully-isolated with an input to output isolation of 1,500Vdc and 1,000Vdc input or output to case. Safety certification includes IEC/EN 60950-1, IEC/EN 62368-1, UL/CSA 60950-1, UL/CSA 62368-1 with CE marking for the Low Voltage and RoHS2 Directives.
