The Arkwright Engineering Scholarships programme is the most prestigious scholarship scheme of its type in the UK with over 5,000 Scholarships awarded to date.

The Scholarships are awarded to high-calibre 16 year old students through a rigorous selection process and allows us to sponsor students over a two year period while they study for their A levels. By offering valuable hands on work experience and support for curriculum projects together with a personal mentor who can help with aspects of the students studies and career planning we can give students an insight into our operations and the career opportunities open to them.

After the two year Arkwright sponsorship, many of our students take advantage of our University scholarship options and continue to maintain links with us throughout their degree studies, taking up the option of paid summer work and financial support in the form of bursaries for the duration of their studies.

On completion of their degree studies this also gives them the opportunity of taking up full time employment with us.
