TDK Corporation is pleased to announce that on 12th February this year, TDK-Lambda UK honoured the extraordinary celebration of an employee’s 50th anniversary with the company.

Vic Gubb began his career with the power supply manufacturer in 1968 as an assembly worker. Realising his love of engineering, he quickly enrolled as a toolroom apprentice. After gaining his qualifications, Vic worked his way through the ranks and is now Senior Industrial Engineer.

“With his supervisory skills, Vic has mentored many young engineers through their qualification period, each of whom owe a great debt to him,” says Phil Scotcher, General Manager, TDK-Lambda UK. “He is an inspirational leader in his field, and is still going strong.”
