What headroom do i6A 250W non-isolated DC-DC converters require?

Posted by Dulcie on February 14, 2018

As the i6A series utilises a step-down topology to maximise efficiency, it needs to have the input voltage higher than the output voltage – this is often referred to as headroom.

David Buck, Market Development Manager at TDK-Lambda EMEA explains what headroom is required for each i6A module.
