Emergency lighting system uses DIN rail power supply with low power consumption

As emergency lights only operate occasionally, once the batteries are charged it is desired that when in stand-by mode the controller draws as little power as possible to conserve energy.
Looking for a cost effective DIN rail power supply that was energy efficient, one emergency lighting manufacturer chose TDK-Lambda’s new DRB series. With an efficiency of over 91%, and being ErP compliant, the 100W DRB100-24 has an offload power consumption of less than 0.5W.
TDK-Lambda offers a wide range of standard Industrial Power Supplies for industrial applications, including DIN rail, click for more information.
