The reliability of cockpit based flight instruments is crucial to ensure safe air travel, and extensive testing is performed before installation.

The field proved reliability of TDK-Lambda’s Z+ series of programmable power supplies led to selection by one manufacturer to provide the power to bench test instrumentation. Local support was welcomed as the 800W models were supplied with the optional LAN interface for automated programming.

The customer also chose the 2U high 19” rack assembly to house the supplies.
