The CPFE1000FI series of 700 to 1000W power supplies rely on conduction cooling to operate. This video from TDK-Lambda explains that the operating ambient temperature range is from -40 to 70oC. The maximum baseplate temperature is higher, at 85oC, where waste heat is transferred to either a cold-plate (liquid or air-cooled) or to an enclosure for outdoor applications.
