For producing live broadcasting audio, reliability is paramount. In addition acoustic noise must be kept to a minimum to ensure the highest quality sound is produced – the TDK-Lambda CFE400M model chosen by the audio equipment manufacturer is convection-cooled, so no fan is required and therefore no audible noise is present. The extremely low heat dissipation and N+1 capability of the CFE were additional key factors in its selection.
