• 10-year E-cap lifetime ensures superior field reliability

TDK Corporation announces the addition of 12V and 15V models to its TDK-Lambda ZWS300BAF series of single output power supplies and with active power factor correction (PFC) included. Operating from a universal input of 85 to 265Vac, the ZWS300BAF features a 10-year E-cap lifetime for superior reliability in the field. Typical applications include those found in industrial equipment and front-end equipment for broadcast and communications, as well as test & measurement.

In addition to the new 12V and 15V models, the ZWS300BAF is available with output voltages of 24V, 36V and 48V, each adjustable by up to ±10% of its nominal voltage to accommodate non-standard system voltages. Standard features include over current and over voltage protection circuitry and an optional remote on/off is also available. Achieving up to 91% efficiency (24V), the ZWS300BAF features an operating temperature range of -10 to +70°C, allowing 100% load operation in a 45°C environment (convection-cooled) and 60°C with 0.7m/s airflow.

With active PFC that meets EN/IEC61000-3-2, the ZWS300BAF has a 3kVac input to output isolation and meets conducted and radiated EMC conforming to EN55011/EN55022-B, FCC-B, VCCI-B. Delivered with TDK-Lambda’s five-year warranty, the ZWS300BAF is safety-approved to UL/CSA/EN60950-1 and EN50178 and carries the CE mark, according to the LV Directive and RoHS Directive.
