Automated printers for use in an industrial environment need to both rugged and reliable; this is why one manufacturer turned to TDK-Lambda for a power supply solution. Working with the technical team at TDK-Lambda the engineers used the HFE1600-48, a 1600W/48V AC-DC power supply, and RFE1600-24, a 1600W/24V unit, which were delivered to the printer manufacturer in a custom-made protective box for easy installation.
