To ensure a reliable rail service is maintained and allowing more flexibility in the future, old railway signal boxes are being upgraded. In preference to an in-house power supply solution, one railway operator worked closely with TDK-Lambda to develop a special assembly, which is based on the HWS-HD (Heavy Duty) series industrial power supply, to meet its specific demanding design requirements.
