Back-up power units are almost always used in security systems to prevent intruders, for example, from disabling the alarm by turning off power to the building. When designing their back-up power unit engineers worked in close collaboration with TDK-Lambda’s technical team; the final power solution was a compact and customer-specific design that uses a TDK-Lambda LS single-output power supply with accompanying battery, control board and enclosure.
