Dental Ceramic Furnace
For dental restorations, such as a crown, dental porcelain (also known as dental ceramic) is predominately used to replicate the missing tooth. Using a dental impression, the dentist fabricates the crown and fires it hard in a special furnace. These dental ceramic furnaces require precise heat control and so, working closely with the manufacturer, TDK-Lambda’s technical team proposed a compact and application-specific design that uses SWS-L low-profile power supplies in parallel and a custom power processing board powered by an on-board KPSA module.
