A manufacturer of frequency converters for wind power installations has selected Alpha modular power supplies from TDK-Lambda. These modular power supplies have a hold up time >150ms in the customer’s application and operate reliably under difficult conditions – enabling the frequency converters to supply the active and reactive power even during strong grid fluctuations. The frequency converter manufacturer recognised the value of local technical support offered by TDK-Lambda.
