In order to stabilise a patient as quickly as possible and thereby prevent further harm to organ functions, cardiopulmonary support equipment is vital. One of the most impressive attributes to this project was the technical support the manufacturer received from TDK-Lambda, which allowed the design team to integrate the Vega power supply into a custom housing.
