Initially adopted in 1973, it regulates multiple types of ship-generated pollution, including airborne emissions and discharge.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Engineers designing a new ship-borne emission sensor impervious to power interruptions required a 150W DC-DC converter with a 24V output capable of operating from a high-voltage input to support battery backup.\u00a0 To meet this need, they turned to TDK-Lambda, which had previously assisted with an earlier design. TDK-Lambda recommended the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.emea.lambda.tdk.com\/uk\/products\/ph-a\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">PH150A280-24<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> power module for this application.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The PCB-mounted PH150A can operate from a wide, unregulated 300 to 425Vdc supply and provides a 19.2 to 26.4V adjustable output. With its quarter-brick form factor, the modules offer versatile cooling options, including conduction cooling via a cold plate or convection cooling using an optional heatsink, which was chosen for the final design.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">TDK-Lambda regularly develops value-added solutions for customers utilising its range of DC-DC power modules.
