They are powered by servo drives that modulate the voltage and current applied to the motor. This enables the motor speed and positioning to be precisely controlled. A suitably rated AC-DC output power supply provides the energy to the servo drive.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Developing a new servo drive capable of operating from a three-phase input voltage, designers contacted TDK-Lambda for a solution. A 3000W AC-DC power supply was needed, capable of operating from a Delta or Wye configuration with nominal 400, 440 or 480 Vac inputs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.emea.lambda.tdk.com\/uk\/products\/tps\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">TPS3000-24<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> power supply was selected, meeting electrical requirements.
