It is suitable for Class I installations and Class II installations without a protective earth.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.emea.lambda.tdk.com\/cus100ME\">CUS100ME is available in four mechanical formats<\/a> \u2013 open PCB, PCB with baseplate, with U-channel, and with U-channel and cover. The baseplate and U-channel versions provide additional cooling assistance via heat conduction. Gap pads are used to conduct heat away from the underside components and into the baseplate and equipment chassis.<\/p>\n<p>The power supply is rated at 100W maximum output power, which can be achieved with convection cooling at ambient temperatures of up to 50\u00b0C for the PCB version and up to 60\u00b0C for the U-channel version. With baseplate and U-channel conduction cooling assistance, this rating can be achieved at up to 70\u00b0C ambient. With forced air cooling at 1m\/s, operation at up to 85\u00b0C ambient temperature is possible.<\/p>\n<p>The CUS100ME is highly efficient at up to 94% and has a low standby power consumption of less than 0.5W. The standard available output voltages are 12V, 15V, 18V, 24V, 28V, 36V, and 48V. Non-standard voltages at up to 10% above these nominal values can be supplied on request.<\/p>\n<p>Our design priorities for these compact power supplies include cost optimisation along with excellent thermal design and performance.
