Multiple modules can be paralleled for longer buffer times. This extended hold-up time allows the equipment to shut down safely during AC power interruptions to avoid data loss. Typical applications for these open frame modules, which come with a five-year warranty, include semiconductor fabrication equipment, industrial machinery, robotic automation, and test and measurement equipment.<\/p>\n<p>The ZBM20 series uses electrolytic capacitors to store the hold-up energy rather than batteries, removing the need for battery servicing and maintenance. The remote on\/off function inhibits the output to avoid the unsafe discharge of stored energy.<\/p>\n<p>All models in the ZBM20 series provide power when the input voltage drops below a preset level. Additionally, the 24V model can be switched to deliver power when the input decreases by 1V.<\/p>\n<p>The five-year warranty ZBM20 has protection against both input overvoltage and overcurrent conditions. Inrush current reduction and internal fuses are also provided.
