This includes the ability to operate in high temperatures and under severe shock and vibration conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Developing a series of ruggedised monitors for mobile use, engineers had to ensure that the power supplies and DC-DC converters could be conduction cooled to withstand high temperatures. As the input voltage varied between applications, products with different input voltages had to be readily available.<\/p>\n<p>Consulting with the local TDK-Lambda sales team, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emea.lambda.tdk.com\/pfe\">PFE1000FA-48 AC-DC power module<\/a> was used for their AC input models. The 24Vdc input <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emea.lambda.tdk.com\/cn-a\">CN100A-24-12 DC-DC converter<\/a> was chosen for vehicle use and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emea.lambda.tdk.com\/ph-a\">100W and 150W rated PH-A series<\/a> picked for high voltage 200 to 425Vdc input requirements.
