Three package sizes cover power levels from 1.4W to 3W. Remote on\/off is standard across the range, and the output is adjustable from 0.5% to 100% of the rated voltage using either an external variable resistor or applied voltage.<\/p>\n<p>Five-sided shielding reduces radiated emissions and contributes to a very low output ripple and noise, reducing external filtering requirements. Therefore, the CHVM is ideal for precision, noise-sensitive applications such as photomultiplier tubes, photodiodes, scanning electron microscopes (SEM), ultrasound imaging, bio-diagnostics, X-ray fluorescence spectrometers, mass spectrometers, and ultrasonic probes.<\/p>\n<p>The CHVM series comes with outputs ranging from 180V up to 2,000V in either a positive or negative polarity. All models within the series are protected against an over-current condition. The CHVM will start up at -20\u00b0C. The operating temperature range is -10\u00b0C to +50\u00b0C for the 1.4W and 1.5W models, and -10\u00b0C to +60\u00b0C, derating linearly to 60% load above +50\u00b0C, for the higher power models.
