These motors and their drives require rigorous and lengthy testing both in the development and production stages. Engineers, familiar with the TDK-Lambda Genesys™ series of programmable power supplies<\/a>, chose the 0 to 20V output GEN20-120-1P230 model for an ATE system to test automotive electric motors. Capable of delivering 2.4kW, the 1U high model<\/a> operates from a single phase 230Vac input. The power supply can be remotely programmed to complete a full test routine using the standard RS-232\/485 interface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
