This 40-year legacy continues\nwith the launch of the QM series, the sixth in a generation of innovative\nproducts. The six models (QM4,\nQM5, QM5H, QM7, QM8B and QM8) within the range cover power outputs from\n550W-1200W low line and 650W-2000W high line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Modular power supplies\naddress a need not serviced by traditional multiple output models with\nnon-adjustable voltages and offer several advantages:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Short lead times, no development costs, no minimum\norder quantities and no set-up fees<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our modular power supplies are constructed using\nassemblies that are either in stock or capable of being built immediately upon\ndemand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The safety certification files cover all the module\nconfigurations and the power supplies are certified automatically to both industrial\nand medical safety standards. Another first for the modular industry is full\nMoPPs isolation, making it suitable for medical B and BF rated equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TDK-Lambda\u2019s manufacturing production lines are\nstructured to be flexible enough to build any volume, from single pieces to\nseveral hundred. Product bills of material and test programs are generated electronically\nwith no manual intervention required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Non-standard voltage outputs and configurations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Industrial power requirements often need a high power\n24V and lower power secondary outputs. As well as commonly available voltages\nof 5V, 12V, 15V and 24V, customers wanting a specific combination of special\nvoltages can be accommodated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the QM series, each output module voltage is\nadjustable, allowing a near seamless offering from 2.8V to 52.8V. Each will be\nfactory set to the desired level. Options include an AC Fail signal, standby\nvoltage, and power supply remote on\/off, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Replacing several single output power supplies<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Several power supplies can be replaced by a single modular\nsupply containing multiple, independently regulated outputs that are fully\nisolated from each other. No minimum load is required, unlike some multiple\noutput products. Up to 18 outputs can be delivered from one modular power\nsupply. The outputs can even be sequenced on or off using the built-in remote\non\/off functions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>System assembly time is reduced with just one unit\nto install and one AC feed required. In addition, one modular power supply will\nmeet the EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference) standards, whereas multiple\nindividual power supplies will probably require an additional AC line filter.\nFurthermore the system leakage current will be significantly higher when using\nseveral single output power supplies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Quiet cooling<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The latest generation QM series features a low\nacoustic noise for an enhanced patient\/user experience of just 44.3 dB(A) at\nroom temperature. With efficiencies of up to 91%, less internal heat is\nproduced, allowing the use of low speed cooling fan(s).
