DC motors provide precise control and are used to accurately position the bobbins or mandrels during the winding process.<\/p>\n<p>Requiring a bulk power supply capable of providing 2,500W at up to 58Vdc, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emea.lambda.tdk.com\/uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">TDK-Lambda<\/a> was able to offer the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emea.lambda.tdk.com\/uk\/rfe\" target=\"_blank\">RFE2500-48<\/a>, which can have its output programmed or set anywhere between 38.4 to 58V.  Endeavouring to minimise machine size, the RFE2500\u2019s 40.6mm height, 107mm width and 354mm length was appreciated by the system designers.
