Gaming machines are now being linked via wireless networks to accept electronic payments, rather than relying on wired networks. The wireless routers used also have to be very reliable as downtime can result in significant loss in revenue, in addition to poor customer satisfaction.<\/p>\n<p>One manufacturer of wireless routers chose <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emea.lambda.tdk.com\/uk\/public\/\" target=\"_blank\">TDK-Lambda<\/a>\u2019s ZPSA40 series to power routers used in gaming applications.  To reduce assembly costs, the \/P version is being used, allowing the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emea.lambda.tdk.com\/uk\/products\/product-details.aspx?cid=1&amp;t1type=application&amp;scid=206\" target=\"_blank\">ZPSA<\/a> to be mounted directly on the printed circuit board.
