HFE Front End Power supply

Large office buildings, research and industrial facilities are now using sophisticated energy management systems to control and track usage. This Smart Building technology enables them to integrate Smart Grid and renewable energy sources while processing, storing, managing and responding to large amounts of sensor data.

TDK-Lambda’s 48V output HFE series of AC-DC Front Ends is now powering such systems. These 1600W rack mount power supplies have redundancy and hot swap capability, ensuring reliable, round-the-clock performance. Up to five current-sharing HFE1600-48 units can be plugged into a 19” 1U high rack, providing 7,600W or over 6,000W with built in redundancy.
